WOMEN’S DAY PROTEST RECAP

We showed up. We took the streets. We made it clear: Hoosiers will not stay silent in the face of injustice.


On March 2, 2025, the Hoosier Human Rights Initiative Fort Wayne Chapter organized the People’s Protest at the Allen County Courthouse in Fort Wayne. Hoosiers from all walks of life came together to stand against injustice, protect our democracy, and demand change.

  • Community members uniting to fight for democracy and human rights.
  • A strong, passionate crowd making sure our voices were heard.

200 strong. 200 voices. 200 people standing up for women, non-binary, and trans rights in Fort Wayne. We showed up. We made noise. We demanded change.


On March 8th, 2025, the Hoosier Human Rights Initiative Fort Wayne Chapter organized a powerful Women’s Day Protest at the Allen County Courthouse, and the turnout was incredible. From passionate speeches to unwavering chants, we reminded Indiana that we won’t be silenced.

  • Powerful speeches on reproductive rights, gender equality, and LGBTQ+ protections.
